Certified Roofing are proud to engage in the local community by supporting our local charities, church groups and sporting communities. We strongly believe in getting involved and giving back to the community.
Bentham Foundation
Establishing the Bentham Foundation was initially inspired by Mick’s initial visit to Nepal in 2010. Seeing the underprivileged conditions of the local children and the lack of fresh drinking water throughout the country, Mick became passionate about wanting to make a difference and makes frequent trips to Nepal to manage and support various community projects. Red Frogs
Red Frogs – Safeguarding a generation of young people at schoolies since 1997. Certified Roofing supports Red Frogs every year and donated a 4 Wheel Drive in 2010. http://redfrogs.com.au/hotelchaplaincy
Redlands Easter Family Festival
The Redlands Easter Family Festival was first held on the shores of Raby Bay Cleveland in 2000 and as the result of a vision by Pastor Glen Gray that churches should combine to offer a day of free celebration and Christian witness of the Easter message to the greater Redland City community.
There are approx. 400 volunteers on this day and everything for families is free including food, drinks, rides and entertainment. It is a fantastic day out for the whole family. Each year, Certified Roofing gives back to the community by cooking 3,000 sausages; handing out drinks, cakes and 1,500 icy poles to help the show and spread the love of Christ!
The Cage Youth Foundation
Certified Roofing donated a new roof to the value of $10,000 towards The Cage’s undercover area to help assist their mission of helping the disadvantaged youth in the Redlands area.
Scripture Union QLD
Scripture Union QLD is a Christian not-for-profit organisation and is the largest provider of school chaplains in Australia. With Mick’s Christian background and a heart for youth and children, Certified Roofing has sponsored many of the events organised by SU QLD in the past, and will continue to in the future to help support their great cause.
