True Jesus Church, Chandler, Qld – Metal to Metal

Certified Roofing was engaged to restore the roof of this architecturally delightful church in Chandler.  The intricate nature and angles of the roof profile and replacement of the existing atrium glazed skylights meant ingenuity with regards to the scaffolding layout both externally and through the middle of the church internally. 

The replacement meant removing the inconsistencies in the pitch of the roof by raising the height of the purlins using riser brackets and new battens.  Re-design of the step apron flashing where it meets the glazing was also carried out, along with replacing box gutters and increasing the sump size.  These adjustments and additions will future proof this roof and extend the life and longevity of the products installed for our client.
