Camden House, Mermaid Beach, Qld – Asbestos to Colorbond
Camden House is located on Hedges Avenue in the heart of Mermaid Beach. Being a 4-storey residential block, full scaffold was required with screening for added protection to undertake this asbestos to Colorbond conversion.
The new roof sheeting of choice was 0.42bmt Colorbond Ultra Trimdek to withstand the saltwater environment. The existing box gutters were also asbestos and were replaced with 0.55bmt Colorbond Ultra custom box gutters. The duration of the project spanned 4 weeks with the result being an excellent top-quality roof.
